Advice - Fertilization
Fertilization should be regular and abundant. Use organic fertilizer
pellets, such as Bio-Gold, or chemical fertilizer once the leaves have
fully developed (not before the first two weeks in May). Then use liquid
fertilizer every two or three weeks supplemented with organic
fertilizer (avoid fertilizers with too much nitrogen) such as N.P.K
10-15-15 with trace minerals.
At the end of the season (in
September or October) we strongly recommend using fertilizers with
higher phosphoric acid and potash content to help your tree withstand
the rigours of winter and more easily restart its growth in the spring
(suggested fertilizer composition: N.P.K 0-15-40).
