Description
A recent introduction among Japanese maples, Emerald Isle was selected by Buchholz Nursery. This variety stands out with its large chartreuse green leaves featuring deeply divided lobes, which mature to a rich emerald green in summer. In autumn, the foliage lights up in vibrant shades of red, deepening to burgundy. Vigorous yet moderate in size, Emerald Isle reaches 2 to 3 meters (6.5 to 10 feet) in ten years, making it an excellent choice for medium-sized gardens.
