Height of the tree alone: 590 mm.

Branch width: 500 mm.

High-quality unglazed Japanese pottery from Yokaichi: 400*310*100 mm.

Moyogi style. Variety with green scales on top and silver underneath.

Diameter of the large trunk : about 85/100 mm at the collar with jin and shari. Exceptional subject for an amateur.

This bonsaï was reshaped in autumn 2023, it will need time to branch out to densify its branch trays. With good fertilization, a semi-shaded exposure next summer, and regular watering, it will be superb in a year. Note that its dead wood is natural, it is not a tanuki. No strong pruning wounds or wires.

Beautiful movement of the trunk, splendid shari and jin.
