Description

Height of the only tree: 260 mm.

Branch spread: 280 mm.

Handcrafted unglazed Yixing Chinese pottery signed: Ø 185*60 mm.

Moyogi style.

Juniper with graceful branch trays and jins.

Itoigawa variety with thin green scales, particularly vigorous, and perfectly suited for bonsai cultivation; it loses very few leaves in early summer, unlike the Juniperus chinensis type.

Well-formed bark as this specimen is over 15 years old.

No significant wire scars or cutting wounds.

Originating from Master Fujiwara's nursery! A true bonsai with original jin and shari, not to be confused with tanuki.

Since the repotting was done in April 2023, it will need to be repotted again in April/May 2025.

Admire the uniquely twisted trunk with its distinctive shari – a hallmark of this bonsai.

Whitening deadwood with jin product to be tinted with charcoal will result in an attractive ashy color.
